First of all a Very Happy New Year to all my readers. I owe you a lot :)
Okay... now as it's New Year's Eve so it's all about wines and confectioneries and 'course
not to mention the hot carnival parties. But one thing that goes hand in hand with any
kind of celebration is Food !!
Yes, some people just don't eat food to stay alive but they stay alive to eat food :P
Anyways, lets come to its etymology.....It derives via Middle English and Anglo-French from the Latin adjective "gulosus" ("gluttonous") and ultimately from the noun "gula" ("gullet"). And the pronunciation of this hungry word goes like \goo-LAH-suh-tee\.
Dictionary meaning(noun)-- excessive appetite : greediness
Example sentence -- Don't challenge my gulosity if you want your guests to be served with the remaining food.
Fun description -- If you have the "Gulosity" then I need not put in any description here but if you don't have then it's time to put on some artificial gulosity atleast in the New Year's Eve.
Here comes the do's --
--Move to your favorite party spot and if you have already paid in advance for the free wine then it's time to gulp mug after mug ( until and unless your gulosity for the heavenly potion is satisfied :P)
--Then comes the array of belly dancers... that's called visual gulosity ( see i tcan be of many forms ) ... those seductive moves.... you savor with your eyeballs apart .... until and unless a voice within you says 'ah! it's enough ... someone pouncing in my stomach !!'
--If the visual gulosity is well served..... now comes the real deal of food....the gulosity of your tummies. BUFFET booked ... price paid !! What more... forks and spoons are delivered at your disposal ... now it's all you and your stomach !!Bring it on .......it's time to inculcate that raw gulosity in you in such a manner that you find the whole buffet food-hold as good as your evening snacks !!
--Now when evrything is done ...... you had your liquid , aerial and solid gulosities satisfied .....you sit relaxed on the backseat of your Tata Nano and ask your apathetic under-paid driver to drive you back home !! :P
P.S. -- You wake up the next morning and find the newly bought killer jeans coming only half your waist-line !! You better hit the treadmill now :) and don't forget to increase your driver's annual pay package this new year !!
