Wait a minute !! Is this a word ?? Because barely seems like one. It must be a name of some fungi or algae.. isn't it ?? Well... lets come back to reality. Its actually a standard English word (though hard-to-believe :P) . Rather to be more precise it's word for the words you don't remember. Don't worry about the pronunciation because I know you have already got it that's "thing-u-mu-bob" exactly the way it is spelled !!

 Dictionary meaning (noun) -- Something unspecified whose name is either forgotten or not known.
 Example sentence - He took that creepy thingamabob out from his jacket !!

Fun description -- So now you know that its not an algae not even a fungi ... good. And yes it's a word which gives you a tool to speak about something whose name you either don't know or don't remember. So it's pretty handy huh?? 
Here goes the ways you can fun use it : 
1. Lets say you went to a party and you found a person whose name you forgot . Then you may say " Hey! what's the name of that thingamabob ?? " :P
2. Now lets say you went for shopping and that shopkeeper in your neighborhood trying to sell you that "I-don't-want-it" thing and then you say --" How the hell did you presume that I'll buy that thingamabob !!"
3. Last but not the least you can tease that fat bully in your locality by saying " Get the f*** out of my way ! You fat round thingamabob!!"


P.S-- You may forget words and use thingamabob instead of them but you will be able to do that only if you remember this word "thingamabob" !!
